I work closely with my clients to understand their individual needs and design artwork to suit their wishes. My services include: creating unique and memorable artwork for your space, custom designed to capture your ideas essence.

MY DESIGN PROCESS

I start by listening, gathering information and researching specific inspiration as discussed.  I then SWRIL it about in my head a bit and let the story emerge.  Inspired by the land, tradition and the quiet details that often go unnoticed.  From my initial sketches to the final piece ... it is developed slowly, thoughtfully and intentionally. The final work reflects a grounded balance of art and heart, resulting in a piece that feels grounded, thoughtful and connected.

I take time gathering colors from the earth, breaking them down through a sifting process resulting in a fine powder.  Creating my paints with mortar and pestle by hand in my small home studio, allowing each hue to develop organically honoring the age old process by making my paints derived from the earth.

My work is rooted in nature and place drawing inspiration from Cape Breton's Flora & Fauna with a Celtic Flair.  Weather you're here to explore original works, prints or ongoing projects; I hope you find something that invites you to slow down, look closer and connect.
